Job Summary

DevOps Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team to ensure reliable infrastructure and automated deployment processes.
• Architect, implement, and maintain

  scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure

  (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Design and optimize

  CI/CD pipelines

  across multiple environments.
• Drive

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  adoption using

  Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

  .
• Implement

  monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions

  (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Security teams to integrate DevOps best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Lead

  incident management and root cause analysis

  for production issues.
• Ensure

  robust security practices

  for infrastructure and pipelines (IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning).
• Continuously evaluate and recommend

  new tools, technologies, and processes

  to improve efficiency and resilience.

Required Qualifications

• Education

  : Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Certifications

  : At least two current cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform, etc.).

• Experience

  :
• 10+ years in

  DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Operations

  .
• 5+ years in a

  technical leadership role

  .

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Expertise in at least

  two major cloud platforms

  : AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Strong knowledge of

  CI/CD tools

  : Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Hands-on with

  IaC tools

  : Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Proficient in

  containerization and orchestration

  : Docker, Kubernetes.
• Skilled in

  scripting

  : Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong understanding of

  networking, security, and system administration

  .
• Familiar with

  monitoring/logging solutions

  (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Experienced in

  implementing DevSecOps best practices

  .

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of

  serverless and microservices architecture

  .
• Experience in

  hybrid/multi-cloud environments

  .
• Familiarity with

  cloud security tools, IAM, VPNs, firewalls

  .
• Expertise in

  cloud cost optimization and governance strategies

  .
• Agile methodology experience.
• Relevant advanced certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, CKA).

Working Conditions

• Work Arrangement

  : Hybrid – Trivandrum office.

• Work Hours

  : Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (with PST overlap as needed).

• Travel

  : Occasional for meetings, research, or conferences.

• On-Call

  : Light rotation depending on operational needs.
