Development Engineer

As part of AlgoSec, you will be involved in developing test automation using cutting-edge technologies. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end testing, designing tests, and automating them. You will also develop and maintain UI & API automation tests in a CI/CD environment. Additionally, you will write and execute automatic tests based on specific environments, support test case automation activities during iterative development and regression testing, review user stories and functional requirements, and assist in manual testing using test management/tracking tools. To excel in this role, you should be a Computer Science student or equivalent with a GPA of 8.5 and above, with a maximum of 0.5 years of studies remaining. You should have knowledge or relevant experience in programming languages like C#, C++, and Java, a strong understanding of OOP, TDD, software architecture designs, and patterns. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized. Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, Yaml, JSON is advantageous, and experience with Selenium and Git is a plus. Knowledge and experience in testing methodologies are also beneficial. In addition to technical skills, you are expected to possess soft skills like multitasking, problem-solving abilities, context switching, and out-of-the-box thinking. You should be a team player with a high level of integrity, organized, thorough, and devoted, a fast learner with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
