Developer - IT Global SAP ABAP

Role Overview: As a Developer - IT Global SAP ABAP at Momentive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Enterprise Resource Programs and functionality. Your role will involve capturing customer and user requirements, systems analysis, design, complex ABAP and JAVA programming, testing, debugging, and implementing mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of Enterprise Resource Programs and related systems, including updating documentation, computer programming, and conducting systems administration. - SAP ABAP Programming tasks such as Forms, Reports, Enhancements, Conversions, Interfaces, Workflow, SAP script, and Adobe Smart Forms. - Creation of SAP OSS Messages and Support Tickets, as well as applying OSS Notes. - Verify and validate system operation, write and execute test procedures and scripts, conduct reviews, correct defects, and provide technical support. - Perform and document impact analyses, development estimates for change requests, and assist with technical design and functional specifications for business applications. - Make presentations or conduct training on new or changed systems, work with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and have familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5. - Basic knowledge of Java is advantageous, not mandatory, good communication, documentation skills, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering, or related field or equivalent. - Minimum 6 years of SAP FRICEW object development experience using ABAP. - Proficiency in SAP application development, ALV and ABAP lists for report writing, RFCs/BADIs/BAPIs, Userexits/enhancements, BDCs, LSMW, Workflow, WebDynpro. - Experience in structured methodology, software development lifecycle, change management, transports, source code control. - Ability to work independently, meet deadlines under pressure, problem-solving skills, interact well with all levels of management, and collaborate effectively in a team. - Excellent communication skills, translating business requirements into designs, and explaining complex issues in a non-technical manner. - Working knowledge of SAP functional modules like SD, MM, FI, FSCM is desired.
