Job Description

Role Proficiency:

Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering

Outcomes:

Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Adherence to engineering process and standards (coding standards)
Adherence to schedule / timelines
Adhere to SLAs where applicable
Number of defects post delivery
Number of non-compliance issues
Reduction of reoccurrence of known defects

Developer III - Software Engineering Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications . The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills and a solid understanding of scalable application design. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems. Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and reliability. Participate in code reviews and enforce best coding practices. Support application deployment and provide post-production support. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize systems and processes. Required Skills & Experience: Strong programming experience in Java (8/11/17). Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA. Solid experience in Microservices architecture and REST API development. Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Proficiency with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good to Have (Optional): Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Knowledge of Docker or containerization (for on-premises deployment). Front-end knowledge (Angular/React) is a plus experience-5+ year
