DET-Architect - AE-Python Fullstack-Manager-32

Job Description: As a Python Full Stack Architect at EY, you will be responsible for designing and architecting scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant Python-based applications and microservices. You will define and implement architecture guidelines, best practices, and coding standards, while leading the decision-making process around frameworks, tools, libraries, and cloud services. Collaboration with DevOps, QA, frontend, and data teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Additionally, you will optimize system performance, scalability, and maintainability, as well as mentor and guide development teams on Python design patterns, asynchronous programming, and modularization. Your expertise in OOPs concepts, data structures, Python scripting, debugging, and API design will be key in this role. Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Django or Flask, and modern software configuration management tools will also be required. Strong technical knowledge of Azure/AWS, containerization, and project management in accordance with AGILE (SCRUM) methodology is expected. Good verbal and written communication skills, stakeholder management skills, and a background in object-oriented programming are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Ensuring non-functional aspects like high availability, scalability, security, performance, resiliency, cloud readiness & monitoring of partner integration are well crafted in architecture and design - Participating in Sprint planning for requirements and implementations - Estimating efforts to deliver user story development - Participating in daily scrum calls, managing user stories in centralized sprint management tools, and validating user stories with respect to acceptance criteria - Participating in sprint backlog refinement, Sprint retrospective meetings, and PI Planning - Experience working with Banking, financial services is a plus At EY, we are committed to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet, while building trust in capital markets.
