Desktop Support Technician

As a Temporary IT Engineer for the Disk Wipe-Out Project, you will be responsible for visiting the onsite location in Kanchipuram to perform secure disk wiping on designated devices. The project duration is expected to be between one to two weeks. Your main duties will include executing a 3-pass wipe on each machine using disk wiping software like BitRaser, KillDisk, or equivalent tools. Before proceeding with the disk wiping process, you are required to verify and document the serial numbers of all devices. Additionally, you must provide a certificate of completion for each device that has been successfully wiped. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience working with disk wiping tools such as BitRaser, KillDisk, or similar software. The ability to organize and complete the project efficiently on short notice is essential. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate device verification throughout the process. It is also necessary to have or be able to obtain a license for the disk wiping software if required.
