Job Description

As a Desktop Support Engineer, your role involves providing expert-level support for Windows operating systems, desktop and laptop hardware, peripherals, and networking. Your responsibilities include: - Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows operating systems of all versions - Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, peripherals, including printers and scanners, and performing advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements - Having familiarity with BIOS/UEFI and the ability to troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN, and wireless networking - Utilizing virtualization platforms such as VMware and Citrix for desktop management and troubleshooting - Configuring and troubleshooting MS Office Outlook and MS Teams, supporting the rollout of new applications, and providing technical support to staff members or clients - Troubleshooting and supporting video conferencing hardware and software, as well as configuring networking devices like switches and routers - Demonstrating knowledge of hard disk encryption tools like BitLocker and other encryption applications like Symantec PGP Additionally, you should possess good communication skills to effectively explain complex technical issues to non-technical VIP users. Immediate joiners are preferred for this full-time position located in Trichy, Pudukottai, Tamil Nadu.
