Your work will contribute to the overall look and feel of various Product & projects.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Game Design, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in 3D modeling, texturing, or digital art can be beneficial.
- Proficiency in texturing tools such as: Substance Painter and Substance Designer, Mari, ZBrush, Adobe Photoshop etc.
- Familiarity with 3D software like Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, etc.
Skill Sets
- Technical Skills: Expertise in industry-standard texturing tools
- Procedural Texturing: Experience with procedural texturing techniques, utilizing tools like Substance Designer to generate reusable, efficient textures.
- 3D Software Knowledge: Basic proficiency in 3D modeling software like, Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3ds Max.
- Real-time Rendering and Optimization : Experience with texture compression, level of detail (LOD), and reducing texture size without sacrificing quality
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous ability to create textures with realistic surface qualities such as fabric, metal, wood, skin, etc.
- Color Theory and Lighting: Solid grasp of color theory to ensure harmonious texture colors. Understanding how light interacts with different surfaces to create convincing textures.
- Stylization vs. Realism: Ability to create both realistic and stylized textures depending on the project's art direction.

Key Responsibilities
- Create High-Quality Textures: Design and apply detailed and realistic textures for different product, including industrial material wood, marble, stone, etc. and other creative texture design. Ensure textures match the project's artistic style, whether realistic or stylized.
- Work with UV Mapping and Unwrapping: Develop and apply UV maps to 3D models, ensuring proper layout and seamless texturing. Efficiently manage UV space to maximize texture resolution and minimize distortion.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with the art director and lead artists to ensure textures match the overall artistic direction of the project, revising work based on feedback.
Communicate effectively with
technical artists
or technical team at factory to ensure textures function properly after printing on a product, colors are matching and quality of the texture is proper.
- Optimize Textures for Performance: Create textures with appropriate resolutions, considering performance requirements for various platforms. Apply texture compression techniques to reduce file sizes while maintaining visual quality, ensuring textures are optimized for real-time rendering.
- Adapt to Various Art Styles: Be flexible in creating textures that fit different visual stylesfrom photorealistic, highly detailed textures to more abstract or stylized designs, depending on the project's needs.

- Maintain and Organize Texture Libraries: Develop textures that can be reused across different models or environments, creating libraries of tiling textures, material presets. Keep textures organized in asset management systems, ensuring that the entire team can easily access and utilize them throughout the project.
- Ensure Consistency in Texturing: Work within predefined color palettes, surface definitions, and material guides to maintain consistency across all textures within the project.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay current with advancements in texturing tools and techniques, such as improvements in Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and new rendering engines.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Work with the technical team to optimize the texturing pipeline, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks that may slow down asset production or cause rendering issues.
