Design Engineer (Mechanical)

As a Design Engineer Manufacturing, you will be responsible for creating innovative and cost-effective mechanical designs based on project specifications and requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CATIA, or similar tools. - Performing mechanical calculations and selections of various motor parts like bearings, shafts, etc. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing, etc.) to integrate various systems and ensure the design meets overall product requirements. - Preparing the design and Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERP and creating the necessary documentation. - Creating manufacturing drawings and defining tolerances with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). - Working on cost reduction initiatives and possessing skills in design software like SolidWorks. - Demonstrating knowledge of design and engineering principles, best practices, stress analysis, and computational tools. - Coordinating and communicating multiple tasks simultaneously. - Showcasing strong presentation skills, exceptional time management, and project completion abilities. Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience in Design Engineering with proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design software. - Hands-on experience with design software and knowledge of engineering principles. - Strong presentation skills and exceptional time management abilities.,
