Design Engineer - CATIA

Role & responsibilities

1.Requirement : Automotive

Qualification :

Positions :

• Minimum 3+ Years of working experience in Catia V5/V6.
• Should have completed at least 2-3 NPD project
• Hands on experience in design and development of IP/console/Trims parts.
• Excellent product and manufacturing knowledge.
• Knowledge of GD&T & hands on experience on 2D/3D Drawings creation required.
• Ability to work /handle parts / Team & interior commodity Independently.
• Able to interact, analyze and create parts as per design Rules & requirements.
• Good Team Player /Lead and flexible to work in any streams of work as per dynamic requirement that may change from time to time
• Should able to understand and willing to work under any challenging and tough environments. Good Communication skills

2.Requirement : Automotive CAD BIW - Body Exterior.

Qualification :

Experience :

Positions :

• Experience in BIW (Body-in-White) Design of Structures such as Underbody / Front End Structure.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling and stamping requirements and assembly sequences of BIW and Closures.
• Relevant experience in AL-PL layout, Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept creation and assembly processes of various parts.
• Knowledge of relevant Regulations & Homologation requirements.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience of GD&T for CAD models and drawings.
• Knowledge in WERS, GPDS & DPA 0/1 assessments in E2KS.

3.Requirement : Automotive

Positions :

• 2+ Years of experience in powertrain components, Systems & Sub Systems (Preferably Engine)

• Familiar with the Stack up concepts to determine the Worst-case clearance/Interference of the components subjected to clearance/Assembly studies and Fastener stack up Analysis.

• Hands-on Experience in 1D/2D Tolerance Stack up Analysis and VSA (Variation Simulation Analysis)

• Powertrain Systems and sub systems using CATIA, GDT, TCe & TC Vis VSA tools

• Create Stack loop Diagram in CATIA/3DX with the affected Dimensions/Tolerances/GDT etc

• Run Stack up Analysis in e Stack Tool based on the Cpk value confirmed by Engineer

• Perform Iterations for the Stack up Analysis based on the Design changes and request from Engineer(s)

• Work closely with Engineers to understand the requirements and support as needed with the Stack up and CAD tasks throughout the entire Product life cycle
