Our client is looking for Delivery Manager (Financial and IT Program Delivery)
Job responsibilities :1. Program Delivery & Execution - Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT programs covering finance, ERP, analytics, and digital transformation.- Develop comprehensive program roadmaps, milestones, and delivery timelines.- Establish program governance structures, steering committees, and reporting frameworks.- Oversee execution across multiple workstreams and ensure integration of deliverables.- Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with organizational strategy and financial objectives.2. Financial Planning & Management- Own program budgets, including planning, forecasting, cost allocation, and variance analysis.- Provide regular financial insights and recommendations to optimize delivery costs and ROI.- Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting, audit, and reporting standards.- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.- Implement financial controls to mitigate risks of budget overrun, leakage, or misallocation.3. Risk, Compliance & Governance- Identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and critical issues across programs.- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GDPR, financial audit requirements).- Drive audit readiness and financial transparency for internal and external stakeholders.- Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor delivery effectiveness, financial performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.4. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership- Serve as the primary point of contact for executives, finance leaders, and IT management.- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across business and technology functions.- Conduct regular steering committee updates, financial reviews, and program status presentations.- Manage and strengthen relationships with external vendors, system integrators, and service providers.5. People & Team Leadership- Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing delivery teams comprising project managers, analysts, and technical specialists.- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.- Provide career guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.Core Competencies:- Strong program management capability with ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.- Deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and connect it with delivery decisions.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage executive stakeholders and vendor partners.- Proven leadership skills to motivate diverse teams in a matrix environment.Technical/Domain Expertise:- Solid knowledge of financial systems (SAP, Oracle Financials, Workday, or equivalent).- Experience in ERP implementation, financial process automation, and digital finance transformation.- Familiarity with methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.- Exposure to emerging technologies in finance (cloud-based platforms, RPA, AI-driven analytics).Desired candidate should have ; - 10+ years of proven experience in IT program/project delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior delivery management capacity.- Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and program financial governance.- Industry experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), or large-scale enterprise environments preferred.- Excellent Verbal and Communication Skills- Strong Organizational Skills- Better Decision-making- Strong Customer Service and Project Management Skills- Operational Ability in a Diverse, Large-scale Environment- Change Management- Ability to Manage Conflict- Knowledge in ITIL Disciplines- Complete understanding Agile methodology, Scrum management Capacity to Train Team Members
