Job Description

As a Data Center & ACI Network Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex data center networks using Cisco Nexus platforms and ACI architecture. Your role will involve: - Working extensively with Cisco Nexus platforms (2K/3K/5K/7K/9K) and ACI architecture. - Designing and implementing overlay technologies such as VXLAN, BGP EVPN, OTV, LISP, vPC, VDC, and FabricPath. - Configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 switching protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Macsec, and PFC. - Developing automation scripts utilizing Python, Ansible, and REST APIs. - Creating and reviewing project deliverables including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and implementation/change management plans. - Optimizing network performance and ensuring high availability in data center environments. Qualifications required for this role: - 4-8 years of experience in data center networking and ACI. - Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and ACI fabric. - In-depth knowledge of BGP, VXLAN, vPC, and other overlay technologies. - Proficiency in Layer 2 switching and advanced network protocols. - Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs. - Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
