Databricks Administrator

Role Overview: As a Databricks Administrator, your main responsibility will be to administer and optimize the Databricks platform, which includes managing clusters, workspaces, and SQL warehouses. You will handle tasks such as user and access management, Unity Catalog, and workspace security. Troubleshooting issues across clusters, jobs, workspaces, and pipelines will also be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, implementing data governance and model governance using Databricks features and collaborating with DevOps and data teams for seamless operations will be key aspects of your job. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and optimize Databricks platform, including clusters, workspaces, and SQL warehouses. - Handle user and access management, Unity Catalog, and workspace security. - Perform cluster configuration and tuning, init scripts, and pool management. - Troubleshoot issues across clusters, jobs, workspaces, and pipelines. - Implement data governance and model governance using Databricks features. - Manage orchestration, Delta Sharing, and secret scopes. - Collaborate with DevOps and data teams for seamless operations. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience as a Databricks Administrator. - Strong working knowledge of Databricks Lakehouse Architecture. - Hands-on experience with Linux for environment management. - Experience with Databricks SQL, Python/PySpark. - Proficiency in data security, governance, and secret management. It is nice to have Databricks Certification (Admin/Associate) and exposure to multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.,
