You are a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Database Specialist responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the database infrastructure. Your role includes managing critical database systems, automating tasks, and collaborating with engineering teams to create robust solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of database systems. - Develop and implement monitoring tools for proactive issue detection and resolution. - Optimize queries, indexes, and configurations for peak performance. - Automate routine tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts. - Plan for database growth and scalability. - Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies. - Enforce database security best practices and perform regular audits. - Collaborate with development teams to create scalable and efficient database solutions. - Maintain detailed documentation of database architecture, procedures, and policies. **Qualification Required:** - Expertise in RDBMS platforms like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2. - Proficient in SQL and database performance tuning. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash. - Deep understanding of backup/recovery and high availability strategies. - Knowledge of database security and compliance best practices.,
