You are invited to join our dynamic Technology Service Delivery team in Hyderabad as a Quality Assurance Analyst II, Support Ops. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of the work carried out by our Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Client Platform Engineers. Your strong understanding of data processes, analytics, and quality assurance methodologies will be instrumental in validating various data-related tasks and outputs within a legal services environment. Please note that this role requires you to be available from 6 PM IST to 2 AM IST. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing advanced Python scripts, conducting comprehensive quality assurance on data updates, inserts, and modifications, validating and QA of complex SQL and Python scripts, reviewing and ensuring the quality of data migrations, custom reports, and self-service reporting systems, verifying the accuracy and effectiveness of data visualization tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards, conducting thorough QA on ad-hoc data requests, test scenarios, and data analysis in a production environment, validating web form builds and electronic data collection templates, reviewing and verifying daily tickets submitted by business units for various data-related tasks, conducting audits to ensure compliance with data quality standards, metadata management, and data lineage practices, collaborating with data analysts and engineers to resolve quality issues and improve processes, contributing to the establishment and implementation of process improvements, documenting QA processes, maintaining up-to-date quality assurance documentation, providing feedback on data quality management principles, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions, and assisting in validating data cleansing and manipulation processes to ensure data is in the correct format. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, proficiency/strong knowledge of Python and SQL, at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a data-intensive and legal services environment, a strong understanding of data processes, analytics, and database concepts, experience with data validation tools and techniques, familiarity with data visualization tools, especially Power BI, knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark and Databricks, an understanding of cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS), experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your required skills include strong proficiency in Python, proficiency in SQL, advanced data quality assurance techniques, experience in validating ETL processes and data migrations, ability to review and QA complex SQL queries and query optimization, quality control processes for both data and web applications, web form validation and database mapping comprehension, technical documentation and process improvement, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment, advanced Excel skills for data validation, and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Preferred skills for this role include experience in the legal services industry or similar professional services environment, familiarity with Power BI for validating data visualizations and Agile methodologies, knowledge of data privacy and security best practices, experience in a production operations environment, understanding of statistical analysis methods for effective QA, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
