Database Developer

As a Database Developer (Fresher) at our company, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining database systems to ensure efficient data storage, access, and retrieval. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. - Assisting in creating and managing database structures such as schemas, tables, and indexes. - Working on data analysis, cleansing, and reporting tasks. - Optimizing SQL queries for performance and scalability. - Collaborating with development teams to integrate databases with applications. - Ensuring data integrity, security, and backup procedures are followed. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Basic understanding of RDBMS concepts like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. - Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language). - Understanding of database design principles and normalization. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred skills that are not mandatory but can be beneficial include exposure to NoSQL databases, familiarity with reporting tools, hands-on experience with databases in academic or personal projects, and basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
