Job Summary

Responsible for administration of Postgres databases with secondary skills in administration of DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL, Clickhouse, Neo4J.

Skill Requirements:

4+ years of experience in Postgres database administration
DB design (Architecture design principles, modelling, partitioning, setting standards and normalisation), installation, managing schemas, performance tuning, parameter tuning, storage management, DB maintenance, patching, upgrade, back-up & recovery, High availability ,replication and capacity planning.
Coding Stored procedures
Working with Linux OS including shell scripting.
Strong experience in AWS and Azure environment.
Experience with an organisation with reliance on 24x7 database services.
Must be an initiative-taker & analytical person with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Key competencies

Postgres database administration
Skills on other database technologies like DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL, Clickhouse
Cloud services - AWS and Azure.
