Job Description

ORACLE DBA JD:

Oracle Database Management Daily health checks of all the databases to confirm the functionality.
Managing users and security by creating roles and profiles.
Installation Patching and upgradation of Oracle databases through silent mode Database.
Creation 12c 11g and 10g through silent mode GUI method.
Manual table space Reorganization via Online method Flashback database using guaranteed restore point Performing.
database backups Physical and LogicalRMAN point in time recovery using tape disk based backups Net backup Managed backup configuration Proactively monitoring the database and troubleshooting the problem Automating jobs both in OS and database level Tuning.
the performance of database using ADDM AWR report and tune bad SQLs using SQL tuning advisor Documenting and maintaining database management procedures Configuring RMAN backups Configuration of 13c Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM to monitor the performance .

SQL DBA JD:

1. Experience in ongoing support and administration of databases running version(s) 2008, 2012, 2014, and 2016

2. Write and debug complex SQL and understand the best ways to incorporate database requests into application programs

3. Evaluating and improving data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes

4. Capable of performing database change management as well as performance tuning.

5. Develop, implement, administer, document and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database

6. Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues.

7. Hands on experience in Upgrades, versions, patches, new releases

8. Communication and coordination with different teams ; Application etc to identify compatibility and impact during upgrades or other patch activities

9. Install MSSQL server software

10. Configure database servers

11. Monitor and maintain system health and security

12. Design backup processes for server and associated data

13. Create accounts for all users and assign security levels

14. Establish a disaster recovery protocol

15. Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution

16. Schedule and perform regular server maintenance

17. Create database management procedures

18. Evaluate data analysis models and procedures
