Database Administrator

As a highly skilled Database Administrator with over 3 years of experience, your role will involve managing and optimizing the Snowflake data platform for our company. Your responsibilities will encompass performance tuning, security, data management, cost optimization, user access control, disaster recovery, and automation. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement database structures - Monitor performance issues and tune queries - Manage security policies and ensure compliance - Support data pipelines and data governance - Create and manage user accounts and roles - Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies - Develop automation for routine tasks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Monitor database availability and troubleshoot issues Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture - Deep knowledge of SQL for querying and performance tuning - Familiarity with cloud services like AWS - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash - Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Please note that this job is on a full-time, fixed-term contract basis in Kochi, Kerala.,
