Database Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure Performance, Security, and Availability of databases - Must Have (MySQL / MongoDB) Pref - PostgreSQL & Cassandra.
• Ensure the orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances
• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
• Perform configuration management, automate monitoring and altering
• Actively contribute ideas and efforts to database system reliability and availability
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and ensure data integrity and security

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 - 4 years experience in MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL management with hands-on experience in upgrades, storage engines, and query optimization
• At least 1+ years of experience on AWS Infrastructure
• Skilled in writing efficient SQL/MongoDB queries, resource planning, and capacity provisioning.
• Experienced in backup/recovery strategies, disaster recovery planning, and regular
• testing. Proficient in automation and scripting for monitoring and maintenance
• Knowledgeable in cloud infrastructure, OS/database hardening, and managing large-scale production systems
