Database Administrator

The company you will be joining is Mobikon, a leading AI-driven Consumer Engagement and Predictive Analytics SaaS platform catering to the F&B industry. Mobikon's cloud-based platform simplifies CRM functions for restaurants, enabling customer lifecycle marketing, offline to online targeting, and Business Intelligence. As part of the core engineering team, your role will involve designing and developing database requirements for web and mobile apps that revolutionize restaurant operations. You are expected to be highly competent, motivated, and eager to enhance your technical skills while taking ownership of assigned problems and requests. Strong debugging capabilities, time management, prioritization, and decision-making skills are essential for this role. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the database on the AWS cloud, ensuring backup, high availability, performance tuning, security, capacity planning, and monitoring of critical events. You will also develop strategies for future database migrations and prepare for the application of big data analytics to existing data. Key Responsibilities: - Manage SQL Server databases. - Configure and maintain database servers and processes. - Monitor system health and performance. - Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security. - Analyze and resolve issues in real time. - Refine and automate processes, track issues, and document changes. - Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement. - Provide support for critical production issues. - Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours. - Ensure data replication between SQL Server and Elasticsearch. Qualifications: - 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role. - 3 years of experience in Performance Tuning, optimization, backups, restores, and recovery models. - 2 years of experience in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server. - Sense of ownership and pride in performance impact. - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Team player with good time-management skills. - Strong hands-on experience with services like EC2, EBS, RDS, VPC, and networking concepts. - Knowledge of services such as Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Route53, CloudFront, Load Balancers, AutoScaling, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail. - Experience with NoSQL DB cluster configuration, administration, and performance tuning, preferably Elasticsearch. - MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications are a plus.,
