Data Visualization Engineer I

As a Data Visualization Analyst at Kroll, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting a variety of visualizations-based analytics products using tools like Power BI. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the team to design and develop visualizations for a range of scenarios, ensuring optimal visual treatments for different audiences. - Completing the lifecycle of visual analytical applications, from data infrastructure development to the production of ready-to-use applications. - Designing high-impact visual applications to make data actionable and facilitate decision-making for internal and external clients. - Working closely with Business Intelligence/Analytics data analysts and product owners to understand business and data requirements, and iteratively design visualizations for feedback. - Identifying innovative ways to visually depict data analytics results, making it easier for end users to understand and derive insights. - Developing dashboards and reports that meet business intelligence needs, ensuring clear and logical flow. - Proactively seeking automation opportunities and working in a multi-project environment while prioritizing tasks effectively. - Demonstrating excellent verbal and written English communication skills and collaborating with India and U.S.-based teams. Essential traits for this role include: - Deep understanding of data structures and schemas. - Experience with various data storage formats such as relational databases, non-relational databases, files, and Azure data storages. - Quick comprehension of business needs and domain-specific knowledge. - Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work in an international team. - Experience with SQL, DAX scripting, and cloud-based technologies, particularly Azure.
