Job Description

Role Overview:

Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to uncover trends and insights
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support hypothesis generation and problem framing
Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate business strategies

Machine Learning & Modeling

Build, train, and evaluate predictive and classification models using machine learning techniques
Develop recommendation systems, customer segmentation, fraud detection, forecasting, or NLP-based solutions (depending on business need)
Optimize models for performance, scalability, and interpretability

Data Engineering Support

Work with data engineers to define and validate data pipelines and sources
Help ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
Use SQL and scripting languages (Python, R, etc.) to manipulate and analyze data

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hive, Presto)
Experience in deploying models to production environments
Background in a specific domain (e.g., marketing analytics, fintech, healthcare, etc.)
