About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Data Science Intern with foundational knowledge in data engineering, deep learning, and data collection. This role provides hands-on exposure to handling large-scale datasets, building data pipelines, and experimenting with AI/ML models for real-world applications. The intern will work closely with our data and AI teams to support research, model development, and infrastructure optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets.
• Build and maintain basic data pipelines for ingestion and transformation.
• Assist in exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and insights.
• Contribute to training and evaluating deep learning models (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
• Support integration of machine learning models into production environments.
• Work with APIs, web scraping, or ETL tools to gather external datasets.
• Document processes, experiments, and findings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, pipelines, batch/stream processing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with data versioning and experiment tracking (MLflow, DVC).
• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or other AI domains.
• Prior project or internship experience in data science/engineering.
