About The Role

We are seeking a Data Science Intern to join our remote team. This internship offers hands-on experience in real-world data projects and the opportunity to work alongside experienced data scientists. You'll gain exposure to data collection, processing, machine learning, and analyticsall in a collaborative and learning-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Preprocessing: Work with structured and unstructured data from APIs, databases, spreadsheets, and more
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using statistical techniques
• Machine Learning Support: Help build and optimize models for classification, regression, or clustering task
• Data Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards, charts, and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver data-backed solutions
• Documentation: Maintain clear records of workflows, methodologies, and findings for reproducibility
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data science
  

Education

Qualifications & Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy
• Basic understanding of machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch)
• Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
• Ability to create clear and insightful data visualizations
