Data Reporting Analyst

About the Company

We are seeking a seasoned Data Reporting Analyst to support a large-scale migration project transitioning 2,000 reports from Tableau to Google Looker. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into actionable insights and visualizations using Looker.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare data, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with Looker and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting and analytics needs.
• Analyze existing Tableau reports and translate them into Looker dashboards and visualizations.
• Validate and interpret clinical and operational data to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Develop and maintain Looker dashboards, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support data exploration and reporting.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure consistency across migrated reports.
• Support minor Python scripting tasks for data manipulation or automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst building out data visualization/data reporting migration
• 3+ years of experience with Google Looker Enterprise (NOT Google Looker Studio)
• Proficiency in SQL
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards and visualizations in Looker.
• Experience supporting a large migration to Google Looker
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with healthcare data and terminology.
• Experience with Tableau

Pay range and compensation package

$8-$11 hourly in USD
