Data Operations Specialist

As a Data Operations Specialist at Our Partner International Funds Limited (MIFL), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and efficacy of asset data across the information environment. Your responsibilities will include executing data quality routines, monitoring data pipelines/processes, and collaborating with the Senior Data Quality Engineer to address issues effectively. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Work closely with the Senior Data Quality Engineer to monitor data processes (ingestion, integration, & quality processes). - Identify, assess, and communicate potential quality issues in data collection, storage, processing, or usage. - Determine the root causes of data quality errors, remediate them, and recommend long-term solutions. - Document data operation and monitoring solutions clearly and concisely. - Execute data quality runbooks as needed, including notifying 3rd party data providers and communicating issues to stakeholders. - Create and codify data quality rules using Informatica for the data operations team. - Maintain data catalogues and business dictionaries/glossaries in Informatica. - Participate in committee meetings and workshops with data stakeholders. - Contribute to team efforts to achieve related results. **Skills / Competencies:** - 2+ years of experience in data quality, systems analysis, or data-focused roles. - Proficiency in developing and following data-related policies and procedures for quality improvement. - Familiarity with Data Governance, Data Quality, or Master Data Management concepts is advantageous. - Knowledge of Informatica cloud suite is a plus. - Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., SQL, Python) for data operations and automation support. - Experience in data analytics problem-solving and effective communication of results and methodologies. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills. - Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies regularly. - Excellent communication skills and ability to present results to management effectively. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or equivalent relevant field.
