About the Role:

• The Data Governance Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening Inigo’s data governance function with a strong focus on Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), and Data Quality.
• This role ensures that customer and reference data are well-governed, accurate, consistent, and aligned across multiple business systems. The analyst will also manage Inigo’s data catalogue and business glossary, ensuring that business definitions and data assets are properly documented, accessible, and harmonized across the organisation.
• This position is essential in enabling trusted, high-quality data that supports business decision-making, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance data governance practices across the organisation.
• Manage and maintain Master Data (MDM) and Reference Data (RDM), ensuring consistency and quality across systems.
• Monitor, assess, and report on data quality, including issue identification, root-cause analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Maintain and administer the data catalogue and business glossary, ensuring alignment of definitions and metadata.
• Ensure customer and reference data standards are defined, followed, and improved over time.
• Assist in documenting data lineage, ownership, and business rules.
• Engage with stakeholders across business and technology teams to improve data quality and governance.
• Support regulatory and audit requirements, including those related to Lloyd’s data standards.
• Perform data analysis using SQL and Power BI to investigate and resolve data quality issues.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in data governance, MDM, or RDM within a complex business environment.
• Strong understanding of data management concepts, including master data, reference data, data quality, business glossary, and data lineage.
• Hands-on experience with data quality monitoring and issue management.
• Familiarity with data catalogues and metadata management tools.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, and Power BI skills for profiling and investigating data issues.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
• Understanding of regulatory and audit requirements, especially related to Lloyd’s data.

Desirable Skills:

• Hands-on experience with MDM tools such as:
• Profisee
• Informatica
• Reltio
• Microsoft MDS

Experience working with data catalogue platforms, such as:

• Collibra
• Alation
• Microsoft Purview
• Familiarity with insurance or financial services data, including customer, policy, and claims data.
