The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in digital systems and databases. This role requires attention to detail, typing proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter, update, and maintain accurate data into computer systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and correct data errors or inconsistencies before entry.
• Maintain and organize electronic and paper files for records and auditing.
• Generate reports and retrieve data as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company data.
• Respond to data-related queries and provide timely support to team members.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure efficient data flow and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Proficient in typing with high accuracy (typically 40+ WPM).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Prior experience in data entry or administrative support is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based or remote depending on company policy.
• Typically standard business hours (9 AM – 5 PM), with occasional need for overtime depending on project deadlines.
