Job Summary:

Entry Operator & Medical Coder

Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Enter, update, and verify data in electronic health records (EHR) and other databases with accuracy.
Scan and digitise medical records
Assign appropriate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Review patient medical records and extract relevant information for coding.
Work closely with medical professionals to clarify documentation discrepancies.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records.
Generate reports and assist in audits as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Any
Life Science,
paramedic, nursing or degree graduate
Certification in medical coding or internship in medical settings is preferred.
Previous experience in medical back end data entry and/or medical coding.
Proficiency in medical terminology and coding systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in
MS Office, Excel
, and HIMS software.
