Data Engineering Specialist

As a Senior Developer working on a BI project based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for various tasks related to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Data Warehousing. Your main responsibilities will include OAC RPD design, data modeling, report-dashboard development, and configuring security measures. You should have extensive experience in OAC RPD development involving time series calculations, YTD measures, and security configuration. Moreover, you will be tasked with creating projects in Oracle Analytics Cloud that showcase visualizations to aid in understanding data trends and analytics for business users. Building complex reports in OAC in an efficient manner and possessing a good understanding of role security aspects will be crucial aspects of your role. Data modeling expertise using STAR and SNOWFLAKE schema design is also expected from you. Furthermore, your role will require a strong knowledge of Oracle database PLSQL development and the ability to write advanced SQL queries using Oracle's SQL aggregate and analytic functions. You should be an expert in debugging, optimizing, and performance tuning of OAC visualizations, Oracle BI Repository, dashboards, and reports. Recognizing and adopting best practices in reporting and analysis, data integrity testing, design analysis, validation, and documentation will be essential. In terms of primary skillsets, you should have 5 to 8 years of BI experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Informatica, OBI, OAC, and SQL. Hands-on experience with Oracle Apex and having worked on at least 2 complete life cycle implementations of BI projects are mandatory requirements. Overall, the role demands proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Analytics OnPremise (OAS/OBIEE) to ensure the successful execution of BI projects and data warehousing tasks.,
