Data Engineering Manager

As a Data Engineering Manager at EY, you will be responsible for leading large scale solution architecture design and optimization to provide streamlined insights to partners throughout the business. You will lead a team of Mid and Senior data engineers to partner with visualization on data quality and troubleshooting needs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing data processes for the data warehouse and internal systems - Leading a team of Junior and Senior Data Engineers in executing data processes and providing quality, timely data management - Managing data architecture and designing ETL processes - Cleaning, aggregating, and organizing data from disparate sources and transferring it to data warehouses - Leading development testing and maintenance of data pipelines and platforms to enable data quality to be utilized within business dashboards and tools - Supporting team members and direct reports in refining and validating data sets - Ensuring adherence to all enterprise data management principles and understanding data management best practices - Creating, maintaining, and supporting the data platform and infrastructure that enables the analytics front-end - Driving data reconciliation and monitoring data quality to ensure accurate production data is available for key stakeholders and business processes - Collaborating with various teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that enable advanced analytics and machine learning - Developing communication and education plans on analytic data engineering capabilities, standards, and processes Qualifications required for this role: Preferred Skillsets: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field - 10+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, ETL, and analytics reporting development - Expertise in building and maintaining data and system integrations using dimensional data modeling and optimized ETL pipelines - Advanced experience with modern data architecture and frameworks like data mesh, data fabric, and data product design - Proficiency in data engineering programming languages (Python, SQL), distributed data frameworks (Spark), cloud platform services (AWS/Azure), and relational databases - Hands-on experience with Spark Structured Streaming for building real-time ETL pipelines - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment Good to have skillsets: - Master's degree in engineering specialized in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field - Experience working with pharma clients, preferably in commercial pharma, marketing, and medical affairs - Understanding of Databricks Unity Catalog for effective data governance - Knowledge in CDK, job orchestration tools like Tidal/Airflow, NoSQL, and experience in a global working environment Join EY and contribute to building a better working world by leveraging data and technology to provide trust through assurance and help clients grow, transform, and operate across various sectors.,
