Data engineering lead - VP - PUNE/Chennai

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst position is a senior role where you will be responsible for implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Your responsibilities will include partnering with multiple management teams to ensure proper integration of functions to meet goals, identifying necessary system enhancements for deploying new products and process improvements, and resolving high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and system processes. You will also provide expertise in applications programming, ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint, develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation, and have a comprehensive understanding of how different areas of business integrate to achieve business goals. As an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst, you will need to provide in-depth analysis, develop innovative solutions, mentor mid-level developers and analysts, assess risks in business decisions, and maintain ETL pipelines using Oracle DWH, SQL/PLSQL, and Big Data technologies. Additionally, you will design data models, perform data analysis and quality checks, collaborate with BI teams, optimize data workflows, and support cross-functional data initiatives. To qualify for this role, you should have 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis, extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications, project management experience, and expertise in at least one area of Applications Development. You should also possess the ability to adjust priorities quickly, demonstrate leadership skills, and have clear written and verbal communication. A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required for this position, while a Masters degree is preferred.
