Job Description

Data Engineer (All Levels) — Across India

About the role

Build reliable data pipelines and platforms that power analytics and AI. You care about clean SQL, scalable design, and trustworthy data.

What you’ll do

Design and run
ETL/ELT
(batch + streaming)
Work with
SQL + Python
,
Spark
,
Airflow
/
dbt
Model data (star/snowflake), manage
lake/warehouse
(S3/ADLS/GCS + BigQuery/Redshift/Snowflake/Databricks)
Ensure quality, lineage, and governance (tests, catalog, access controls)
Tune performance, watch costs, add monitoring & alerts
Partner with BI/DS/engineering; document and automate

What you’ll need (by level)

Fresher / Junior (0–2 yrs):
Strong SQL, Python basics, RDBMS fundamentals, Git/Linux, cloud basics, a project or two (even self-built)
Mid (3–6 yrs):
Built prod pipelines, Spark optimization, orchestration (Airflow), warehouses, streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), testing, IaC (Terraform), security (IAM, encryption)
Senior / Lead (7–12+ yrs):
Platform architecture, lakehouse strategy, SLOs & data contracts, FinOps for data, compliance/PII, stakeholder management, mentoring

Nice to have

dbt, Delta/Iceberg/Hudi, Databricks, CDC (Debezium/Fivetran), Kubernetes, Great Expectations/Monte Carlo, Kafka Streams.

Location

Remote/Hybrid/On-site across India (BLR, HYD, Pune, NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur, etc.).
