Data Engineer - Snowflake

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions using Snowflake and Azure technologies.

• Develop and manage ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for seamless data movement and

transformation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data platform meets business needs and aligns

with data architecture best practices.

• Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows in Snowflake and Azure environments.

• Implement data governance and security practices in line with industry standards.

• Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across systems and platforms.

• Ensure data integration and management processes are optimised for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.

• Collaborate with the client to understand project requirements and ensure deliverables are met on time.

• Be open to travelling to client locations as needed for project delivery and stakeholder engagements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and data management.

• Strong working knowledge of Azure (Azure Data Services, Azure Data Lake, etc.) and Azure Data Factory

(ADF).

• Expertise in designing and developing ETL pipelines and data transformation processes using Snowflake and

ADF.

• Proficiency in SQL and data modelling, with experience working with structured and semi-structured data.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices in Snowflake.

• Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.

• Experience with cloud-based data solutions and integration services.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Good communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
