Job Description

Role Overview: As a Data Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and communicating potential data and analytics problems with business stakeholders and end users. You will translate business problems into analytical solutions leveraging Data management, Business Intelligence, and Analytics techniques. Your role will involve anticipating, identifying, structuring, and suggesting functional solutions for data and analytical problems. You will analyze large datasets using SQL and/or Visualization tools, conduct quantitative analysis, interpret results, and design key performance metrics and indicators. Additionally, you will partner with user communities, SMEs, Data/BI/Analytics Architects, and lead high-performance teams to deliver high-quality insights. Key Responsibilities: - Clearly identify and communicate potential data and analytics problems with business stakeholders and end users - Translate business problems into analytical solutions using Data management, Business Intelligence, and Analytics techniques - Anticipate, identify, structure, and suggest functional solutions for data and analytical problems - Provide suggestions in extracting, integrating, and analyzing data - Analyze large datasets using SQL and/or Visualization tools - Conduct quantitative analysis and interpret results - Design key performance metrics and indicators - Partner with user communities and SMEs to create data and analytics requirements - Collaborate with Data/BI/Analytics Architects to provide inputs for modeling data and analytics - Lead high-performance teams of architects and developers to deliver high-quality insights Qualifications Required: - Masters degree preferred; Bachelors degree in engineering is a must - 5 - 10 years of relevant IT experience desired - Demonstrated experience in data strategy, data governance, data architecture, MDM, data quality, data lakes, or data modernization preferred - Experience with dimensional modeling, knowledge in data management, ETL, or BI/Visualization tools is good to have - Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS is a plus - Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java is a plus - Industry knowledge of BI & Analytics landscape and tools supporting descriptive to prescriptive analytics - Versed with Agile methodologies and prior experience working with them - Ability to work in global, cross-functional, and virtual teams (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
