Data Center Operations Manager

As the DC Operations Manager at NK Securities Research, you play a pivotal role in the high-frequency trading operations by ensuring the optimal performance of production clusters. Your responsibilities include managing on-site operations, optimizing infrastructure, and fostering innovation in our state-of-the-art trading environments. Leading infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless scalability, and enhancing system efficiency are also part of your key tasks. Your main responsibilities involve managing the day-to-day operations in data centers, coordinating on-site tasks such as hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and maintaining the smooth functioning of trading infrastructure to minimize downtime. You will also drive end-to-end infrastructure-related projects, lead initiatives to scale and upgrade infrastructure in alignment with business growth, and take charge of timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination. Moreover, overseeing hardware and software deployment, health monitoring and reporting, rack management and verification, inventory management, vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement and automation, and capacity planning are integral components of your role. To qualify for this position, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier institution. Additionally, you should possess over 10 years of experience in managing large-scale data center or infrastructure operations, proven experience in leading cross-functional infrastructure projects, a strong understanding of server hardware, network equipment, and data center design principles, hands-on experience with automation tools, scripting, and monitoring systems, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a process-oriented mindset with a focus on automation, high accountability, and a willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed, providing 24x7 on-call support in emergency situations.
