Job Summary:

Data & Analytics Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction & Integration:

• Extract data from diverse sources including enterprise systems (ERPs like SAP, Oracle), flat files (CSV, Excel), APIs, and relational databases.
• Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data ingestion.

• Data Staging & Transformation:

• Develop and maintain staging environments for raw and processed data.
• Apply data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment techniques.

• Rule Engine Development:

• Design and implement rule engines to apply business logic and validation rules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and refine data rules.

• Data Storage & Management:

• Architect and manage data storage solutions (data lakes, data warehouses).
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with governance standards.

• Data Visualization & Reporting:

• Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Factory).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Familiarity with rule engines or business rules management systems (BRMS) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
• Knowledge of data governance, data modeling and data quality frameworks.
• Certification in cloud platforms or BI tools.
