Job Description

Role Overview

Cyber-Physical Systems Lead

hands-on technical expertise

Key Responsibilities

1. System Architecture & Design

Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of
cyber-physical systems
for Leumas modular factories.
Oversee integration of embedded controllers (STM32 family, ARM Cortex-M), robotics modules, industrial sensors, and actuators.
Design robust real-time communication between factory hardware and Leumasware (cloud platform).

2. Embedded Systems & Control

Develop and review firmware for motion control, process automation, and real-time monitoring.
Ensure deterministic performance for multi-board systems (gravimetric dispensing, packaging, etc.).
Troubleshoot electrical, firmware, and control loop issues in a production environment.

3. Industrial Automation & Robotics

Lead the selection, integration, and calibration of automation components: servo drives, pneumatic systems, machine vision, conveyor systems, robotics.
Implement predictive maintenance and self-diagnostics capabilities.

4. Compliance & Safety

Ensure system designs comply with
GMP, FDA, CE, and IEC safety standards
.
Maintain full traceability of hardware and firmware versions for regulatory audits.

5. Leadership & Project Delivery

Build and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team (embedded, electronics, mechatronics, and automation engineers).
Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, QA/QC, and manufacturing teams.
Plan project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for hardware/software integration.
