The Customer Solutions Architect serves as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with customers to understand their needs. This role involves capturing critical stakeholder inputs and translating them into effective requirements and tailored solutions. The architect is responsible for specifying and designing end-to-end solutions—including customer-specific adaptations—leveraging Nokia’s portfolio of products, systems, and services, as well as third-party offerings when necessary. They apply solution architecture standards, processes, and principles to ensure the technical integrity and sustainability of the solution over time.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Develops customer-specific architecture and high-level solution designs, including both high- and low-level technical specifications tailored to market positioning and customer needs.
- Maintains ongoing engagement with the customer’s CTO and Chief Architect teams to ensure alignment and responsiveness to evolving requirements.
- Drives new business opportunities by setting strategic direction and evaluating emerging technology solutions for relevance and impact.
- Participates in large, complex, and strategic customer solution selling cases, contributing deep technical and domain expertise.
- Captures critical stakeholder inputs and translates them into actionable requirements and effective end-to-end solutions.
- Applies architectural standards, processes, and principles to ensure the long-term integrity, scalability, and compliance of solutions.
- Works across organizational boundaries to develop comprehensive solutions, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure feasibility and delivery.
- Acts as a senior subject matter expert, influencing strategic decisions, solving complex problems, and often leading high-impact projects or functional teams.
Key Skills And Experience
- 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise in designing high-level and low-level solution architectures tailored to customer needs and market positioning.
- Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders (e.g., CTOs, Chief Architects), understand their inputs, and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Experience in evaluating emerging technologies and integrating Nokia and third-party products into cohesive, scalable solutions.
- Deep understanding of IAM, Cloud Security, SaaS, Data Compliance, GDPR, and DevSecOps practices.
- Ability to align technical solutions with business goals, including financial principles and market dynamics.
- Proven capability to lead functional teams or projects, mentor peers, and influence strategic decisions.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
