Train site engineers and supervisors on quality standards, safety, and workmanship . Ensure corrective and preventive measures are implemented for quality issues. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures in civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works. Familiar with codes & standards (IS, ASTM, NBC, ISO) . Experience in both high-rise construction (apartments) and low-rise villa projects . Proficiency in quality control documentation, NCR handling, and audits . Knowledge of testing methods for materials (concrete, steel, waterproofing, blockwork, plaster, etc.). Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems .

Soil Testing: Conduct the Grain Size Analysis (Hydrometer & Wash method), Proctor & California Bearing Ratio Specific Gravity and MDD and Field Density Test by using Sand replacement & Core cutter methods as per IS Standard. Coarse Aggregates: Conduct the Sieve Analysis, Flakiness & Elongation, Moisture content, Water Absorption, Unit Weight, Specific Gravity, Los Angeles Abrasion Value, Aggregate Crushing Value, Aggregate Impact Value & Ten Percent Fines Value. Fine Aggregate: Conduct the Sieve analysis, Silt test (Measuring Jar & 75micron), Moisture content, Specific gravity, Water absorption, Fineness modulus and Bulking of sand (Bulk density). Cement test: Conduct the Fineness test, Normal consistency test, initial and final setting time, specific gravity, and compressive strength test of cement. Fly Ash: Conduct the Fineness test, Compressive strength test. Concrete: Conduct the Slump Test, Trial Concrete Mix Design, Making Concrete Cylinder or Cube in the Field & Compressive Strength Test of Cylinder or Cube. Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in good working order. Recording test results, analyzing data, and preparing reports for engineers and other relevant personnel. Ensuring that construction materials meet specified standards and regulations. Adhering to all lab safety procedures and environmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities: Trial Mix Support: Support the trial mix for research and development purposes. Conduct weighing, flow/slump testing, cleaning of mixing tools, water permeability tests, rheology, RCPT, wash-out, etc. Application Technician Support: Assist the application technician in physical parameter testing of competitor samples and raw materials. Conduct field tests at the site as per the supervisor's instructions. Testing and Analysis: Test sands, cement, chemical materials, and finished goods (e.g., sieving, flow, strength). Cube Testing: Perform cube de-molding, cube cleaning, and cube testing in CTM. Update strength results in the trial sheet. Stock & Materials Management: Monitor raw material stock availability for conducting lab trials and ensure appropriate usage. Pick up raw materials from the production site. Maintain the storage areas for cements, sands, and materials. Ensure the availability and implementation of PPEs and essential tools. Housekeeping and Safety: Oversee the housekeeping of the acid, alkali cabinet, raw material storage, application, and lab areas. Maintain safety showers, eye wash stations, and fire hydrant water levels. Assist in the maintenance of the outdoor premises and main lab areas, including organizing aggregates and cementitious materials. Calibration and Equipment Maintenance: Support the supervisor in the calibration of equipment. Assist in the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and other equipment (e.g., DG operation, UPS, siren, ACs, lights). Vendor and Environmental Support: Provide support to third-party vendors for maintenance of major equipment (e.g., DG, UPS, fire safety equipment). Assist with third-party environmental testing. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure smooth functioning of the R&D premises. Assist in MSEB, MTNL, TTC, and other work as required. Qualifications/Experience: Graduate degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in product development within a chemical manufacturing company. Knowledge of construction chemicals, R&D, QC, and cement or concrete admixtures is preferred. Familiarity with analytical equipment handling. Basic computer knowledge.
