CPU Performance and Power Analyst/Sr Engineer

As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be involved in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems to launch cutting-edge, world-class products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze the performance aspects of Snapdragon CPU subsystem and influence performance uplifts in upcoming revisions - Guide the execution team by projecting CPUSS performance in upcoming chips - Drive deep dive analysis on performance issues, providing fixes or workarounds on CPU subsystem and related SOC Modules - Engage with architects and design teams to investigate next-generation CPU microarchitecture performance features - Develop and simulate workloads for pre-silicon performance analysis and projections on silicon - Lead initiatives for performance technology alignment across product engineering teams **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years OR PhD with 4+ years - Strong CPU architecture/analysis background with exposure to modern chipsets-based ARM/X86 - Familiarity with Microprocessor and/or SoC Architecture, preferably ARM processors - Experience with workload performance characterization, bottleneck analysis, and driving microarchitecture investigations - Hands-on experience with Lauterbach debug environment, Emulation platforms, and Linux boot knowledge - Strong programming experience in C/C++, Perl, Python - Understanding of Linux and Android internals from a performance point of view - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with peers and senior architects/design engineers - Experience with pre-silicon environments such as Verification, Emulation, and Virtual Bring-Up is a plus **Additional Details:** Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
