Container Security Engineer

The position available is for Container Security located in Bangalore, requiring a minimum of 8 years of experience. It is a Contract to Hire job with an immediate joiner's notice period. The Security Technology Engineering team collaborates with various Business Units and stakeholders to manage external and insider threat detection, mitigation, investigation, and response efforts globally. The Sr. Info Security Engineer participates in a global expert team developing technical solutions and advanced analytics for preventive threat detection. Responsibilities include working with Cyber Engineering, Operations, Architecture, and Global Infrastructure teams to deploy and operate a secure cloud application infrastructure aligned with cybersecurity strategic initiatives and business needs. Providing security direction to elevate the organization's security posture within a cloud computing environment is crucial for supporting business initiatives and delivering applications at scale with resiliency. The ideal candidate should possess advanced administrative and troubleshooting skills, along with knowledge of architecture, engineering, and design principles. They must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in security and systems administration across various cloud infrastructures like SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS. Proficiency in implementing industry-leading container security tools, leveraging cloud and container capabilities, is essential. The role demands self-starters with strong work ethic, analytical and critical thinking skills, and resourcefulness in a global virtual team environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills are vital for interfacing with other business units. Required qualifications include: - 5+ years of IT Technology experience - 2+ years of AI / ML experience with working knowledge in neural networks - 2+ years of data engineering experience, preferably using AWS Glue, Cribl, SignalFx, OpenTelemetry, or AWS Lambda - 2+ years of Python coding using numpy, vectorization, and TensorFlow - 2+ years of experience leading complex enterprise-wide integration programs as an individual contributor Preferred qualifications consist of a Mathematics or Physics degree, technical knowledge in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
