Job Description

Experience Required:

8+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies
3+ years managing hybrid cloud environments with cloud migration experience

Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Integration

Design resilient, secure hybrid architectures with seamless integration between cloud and on-prem systems
Implement hybrid connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, OCI FastConnect, VPN tunnels, etc.
Configure hybrid identity and storage synchronization across environments

On-Prem Data Center Operations

Manage physical infrastructure including servers, network gear, SAN/NAS, and hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V)
Perform hardware lifecycle management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery drills
Administer VLANs, firewalls, routing, and IP management within the data center

Data Center to Cloud Migration

Plan and execute end-to-end data center migration strategies
Use tools like Azure Migrate, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), Velostrata, CloudEndure, or OCI Migration Tools
Perform application discovery, dependency mapping, and wave-based migrations
Migrate virtual machines, databases, storage, and applications to public cloud environments
Troubleshoot and resolve latency, performance, and compatibility issues during and post-migration

Infrastructure Automation & Monitoring

Automate provisioning and patching using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash
Implement monitoring and alerting using Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.
Streamline infrastructure as code (IaC) practices in both cloud and on-prem platforms

Security, Compliance & Governance

Apply consistent security controls, encryption, and IAM policies across cloud and on-prem
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Audit infrastructure configurations and logs for security and policy violations

Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with DevOps, security, and application teams on hybrid infrastructure needs
Maintain architectural runbooks, migration plans, SOPs, and disaster recovery documentation
Serve as a technical advisor in modernization and digital transformation projects

Required Skills
