Configuration Manager

Role Overview: You will be joining the Volvo Group as a Configuration Manager within the IT Service & Asset Management area. Your main responsibility will be to ensure accurate data in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), particularly focusing on the Software area. Collaboration with various stakeholders within Volvo Group and external partners will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage service configuration management data for a large, rapidly evolving digital product team. - Ensure stakeholders and data quality for the software area. - Drive measurable practice improvements for incident, problem, change, release, service availability reporting, event, and alert automation using service configuration management data. - Report KPIs and ensure targets are met, including verifying software installations, investigating discrepancies, managing software ownership, and preparing/updating related documentation. - Identify improvement needs and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for improvements on the ServiceNow platform. Qualification Required: - Experience in an IT delivery organization. - Agile implementation experience of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM). - Proficiency in the ServiceNow platform, particularly in CMDB/Software area. - Collaboration experience with external suppliers. - Deep knowledge of Service Configuration Management practices. - Strong ability to manage in a complex and dispersed environment. - Dedication to improving quality and effectiveness. - Excellent communication, presentation, business analysis, and leadership skills. - Proficiency in English.
