Job Description

As a Computer Scientist at Adobe, you will be owning the vision for PDF workflows on Android. You'll define product features, craft system architecture, and implement standard methodologies to mold our strategy and ensure a quality product. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to an agile environment, passionate about new opportunities in mobile, and have a proven track record of success in delivering new features and products. A strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, mobile technologies, and hands-on experience in building customer-facing mobile products is essential. To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science/IT with a minimum of 5+ years of Android development experience. Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools are required. You should be able to debug issues across multiple systems or domains and demonstrate expertise in architecture and design for developing robust and innovative mobile applications. Experience with working on large codebases, writing and debugging multi-threaded & asynchronous code, and optimizing solutions for resource constraints of mobile devices is crucial. As part of the DC Acrobat Mobile Team, you will be part of an energetic and collaborative Agile software development group focused on delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise solutions. You will take pride in designing and building end-to-end solutions that delight users and meet business goals. Additionally, you will innovate new features, influence architecture & design, and contribute at the feature level. Sharing knowledge with peers, mentoring junior team members, and staying updated on new technologies & techniques are also important aspects of the role.
