Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Computer Operator to support our retail showroom operations. The ideal candidate will manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, oversee inventory databases, ensure smooth IT operations, and provide basic technical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain POS systems, ensuring accurate transaction processing.
  
• Monitor and update inventory management software to reflect real-time stock levels.
  
• Coordinate price changes and promotional updates with the sales floor team.
  
• Generate and distribute daily sales, inventory, and performance reports.
  
• Perform routine backups and ensure data integrity across systems.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues promptly.
  
• Collaborate with the IT department for system updates and maintenance.
  
• Train new staff on system operations and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
  
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a retail environment.

• Strong understanding of POS systems and retail operations.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
