Computer Hardware and Network Technician

Location - Virar to Churgate

installs, maintains, and repairs computer hardware and network systems, including PCs, peripherals, and local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs). Key responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and network issues, upgrading components, and ensuring the network runs efficiently and securely. This role requires strong technical skills in hardware and network configuration, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills.

Core responsibilities

• Installation and configuration: Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and network software.
• Maintenance and repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair on computer systems, including diagnosing and fixing hardware issues with components like motherboards, CPUs, and peripherals.
• Network management: Design, install, and maintain network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, servers, and internet connections.
• Upgrades: Upgrade hardware components to support new software applications and network needs.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system failures, network problems, and other technical roadblocks.
• Documentation: Maintain an inventory of hardware and document all repairs, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Collaboration: Work with other IT staff to resolve issues and improve system performance.
