Job Title: Computer Hardware & Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Computer Hardware and Network Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for managing computer hardware, resolving network issues, installing systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Support

• Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install and upgrade hardware components (RAM, SSD, motherboard, etc.).
• Perform regular hardware maintenance and system health checks.
• Manage and track IT equipment inventory.

Network Support

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN network performance.
• Resolve network connectivity issues and conduct cable testing.
• Set up secure wired and wireless networks for users.
• Configure IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.

General IT Support

• Install and configure operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac).
• Provide technical support to end-users onsite and remotely.
• Ensure network and hardware security compliance.
• Maintain documentation (network diagrams, asset records, incident logs).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hardware Technician, Network Technician, or IT Support Engineer.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching.
• Experience with network tools and diagnostic software.
• Ability to install and configure structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A preferred).
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security basics.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA, etc.
• Experience with server environments and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel to client sites if required.
• Ability to lift and install hardware equipment.
• Clean background check depending on industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
