Commerce Back End Developer

About the Role:

• We are seeking a Commerce Back-End Developer with strong expertise in SAP Hybris to provide L2 support and ensure smooth operations of critical eCommerce platforms
• In this role, you will troubleshoot storefront, integration, and performance issues while collaborating with technical teams for advanced problem resolution
• Youll play a key part in maintaining platform stability, improving system reliability, and delivering seamless digital experiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for L2 support for SAP Hybris and related systems
• Investigate incidents from L1 support and ensure timely and accurate resolution
• Analyze application logs, monitor system performance, and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Troubleshoot storefront issues including Cart, Checkout, Search, and Promotions
• Manage and debug integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways and OMS
• Work with L3 and development teams for in-depth technical analysis and code-level issue resolution
• Handle tickets in ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) and meet defined SLAs
• Document recurring issues, resolutions, and contribute to knowledge base updates
• Perform routine maintenance activities such as cache clearing, cronjob monitoring, and deployment validations
• Provide on-call or weekend support as part of a rotational schedule

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of SAP Hybris architecture, data modeling (items
• xml, FlexibleSearch), and admin tools (Backoffice, HAC, HMC)
• Hands-on experience with Impex scripts for data import/export
• Knowledge of Hybris modules: Product Catalog, Cart, Checkout, Promotions
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with monitoring tools like Kibana, Splunk, or Dynatrace
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or JIRA
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of eCommerce workflows and third-party integrations
